Or at least I think so...
Last night I was lying in bed thinking and came up with this idea:
Grocery stores, such as Publix, should utilize their websites. People should be able to go onto their websites, add things to their "list" or cart and then submit when ready. Once submitted, they should be able to go to the store and pick up their items...maybe even drive-through style.
Also, as you run out of things, you should be able to just go add it to a list and then when you are ready, you can submit you list and then go get your stuff.
What do you think???
I think it is AWESOME but will never happen.

Carrie,
As a mom of twins, I too think that this would be a great idea. However, I agree that it will not happen anytime soon. I guess that we could always submit our idea :) However, I do know that when we lived in St. Louis that some grocers offered the opportunity to order your groceries online and have them delivered to your house. Of course, you paid a pretty penny for that. Good idea!
Our grocery store up here , Stop and Shop, allows you to do this and delivers it to you (for a charge of course). I think you may be able to pick them up yourself. There was a store that did exactly what you are talking about in the past, but I can't remember which one. It might actually have been Publix, but the selection online was not as good as it was in the sote.
